Hook cuff is a long, flat green cloth band enclosing an inflatable rubber bladder in one half; the other half has 8 parallel metal ribs, each with a drilled hole in the centre, that are sewn into 8 individual pockets that expose each hole; on the outer bladder side, two small pegs protrude that fit into the rib holes to facilitate sizing; attached to the enclosed bladder are two rubber hoses; one hose, with a threaded end, attaches to a pressure gauge, while the remaining hose terminates in a rubber squeeze bulb topped by a steel valve mechanism
