A syringe kit consisting of (a) a rectangular-shaped, flat, metal case, hinged across the back, with a pressure clasp locking mechanism; on the interior bottom there are five U-shaped clips to hold one syringe and four needles; the syringe barrel (b) is a long cylindrical tube that is open on both ends; the tip tapers dramatically to a flattened point with a small hole in the centre; the opposite end has a large round opening with a protruding rounded lip that has two flattened anti-roll sides; the plunger (c) is a hollow, ground-glass cylinder with a flat bottom and a flat, round thumb push on top

Syringe shows slight chipping below barrel opening, as well as slight staining on interior of barrel; plunger is slightly discoloured and scratched; case interior shows some accumulation of grime and inactive corrosion
