A glass syringe consisting of (a) a hollow cylindrical glass tube that is open at both ends; the tip is cylindrical and tapered at one end with a small round hole; the other end has a large opening with a rounded lip and two flattened anti-roll sides; the plunger (b) is a hollow, ground glass cylinder with a flat bottom and a round, flat thumb push on top; the plunger fits into the barrel and is ground on the exterior to ensure a water-tight fit; it is tipped with red to increase visibility of scale markings; the syringe is contained in a rectangular paper-covered cardboard slide box (c,d); the box sheath (c) is shallow with an apparent seam on the side; it holds (d) the box bottom which smoothly slides into the sheath
