Condition Remarks
The paper and leather on the cover are lost at the edges, and the thick cardboard underneath is exposed; the leather is abraded at the edges and the corners to expose a reddish inner matrix; there are many abrasion marks and scratch marks on the paper of the back cover; the text block has discoloured to an uneven light beige; there are fingerprints and brown spots on the pages; a brown solid is embedded between the back of the grey paper and the first page of the text block, causing brown stains; the illustrations printed on the page before the title page have bled onto the title page.
