At the centre of a round side,a mark reads, "[weight symbol resembling a large "3"] ss [superscr.]"; below this there is an "M" inside a diamond shape; the text surrounding the first mark reads, "HALF DRACHM"; the text on the left of the diamond reads, "PHILA." and on the right, "& N.Y."; short, radiating grip lines are aligned along the perimeter that is also raised; all marks are raised; the edge of the weight is smooth.
