Polaroid Land camera;, 900 Electric Eye model, which consists of a large rectangular-shaped camera with a metal body that has a thin leather strap at the right side and a large plastic flash attachment at the top; the flash attachment has four sides and a round light at its front; the front of the camera has two tabs that push in to release a rectangular cover over the camera unit; this unit is square with a round lens in the centre and bellows at the back; the back of the camera has a rectangular lever that can be moved to the left to release a panel that allows the user to load the film into the camera; the left of the camera has a lever that releases a catch and allows the entire back of the camera to lift off; the top front of the camera has three small rectangular viewing windows.

The outside of the camera's metal case shows a fair amount of corrosion, both rust and green corrosion; the leather handle is very worn, but complete; the plastic and glass parts are complete and undamaged.

The Land Camera is a model of self-developing film camera manufactured by Polaroid between 1948 and 1983. It is named after the inventor, American scientist Edwin Land, who developed a process for self-developing photography between 1943 and 1947.
A Polaroid camera cost in $89.75 in1948. By 1948, the 4 lb. Polaroid Land Camera Model 95 was on sale at the Jordan Marsh department store in Boston for $89.75. It made more than $5 million in sales in the first year, and would be the prototype for Polaroid cameras for the next 15 years.
