This solid metal instrument consists of arm (a) and arm (b); arm (a) begins as a closed oval finger grip; the arms extends from the oval; the inside of the arm is flat and the outside is rounded; a ridge marks the point where the metal is cut to half its thickness, and continues to taper as it nears the blade end; at the midpoint, a groove is cut to allow the attachment of arm (b); arm (a) bends right after this groove at approximately a 5° angle; it thins and tapers to form a pointed blade that angles outwards slightly; arm (b) is similar to arm (a) except for the following distinctions: below the finger grip on the flat inside of the arm, a short, round metal rod extends towards the inside of arm (a) by 0.5 cm; in addition, in the same position as the groove on arm (a), a short, round metal rod capped by a flat, round disk extends from the flat inside of arm (b).
