Dressing jar (a) is a hollow, cylindrical container with a round opening at the top and a flat bottom with a slight ridge around the edge; the sides are straight and smooth except for a slightly raised ring 1.5 cm from the top; the cover (b) is a shallow, round lid with a flat top; a small ridge runs around the edge of the cover; there is a circular indentation in the metal in the middle of the cover and a strip of metal is attached to either side of the indentation to serve as a handle.

Condition Remarks
The jar and cover show minor signs of wear, including small scratches and a small dent at the bottom of the jar; small spots of yellow deposit appear on the sides and bottom of the jar.
