Catheter tray (a) is a rectangular and box-like; it has a flat bottom with three shallow bumps, 6 cm apart; the bottom is bounded on all four sides by four walls, two short and two long; the corners are rounded; a small, rounded lip runs along the top of the four sides; the cover (b) fits over the lipped, rectangular opening of (a); this rectangular cover has a thin, curved metal handle attached to the top of the cover; the edges of the cover are flat, then the metal is raised in the centre of the cover to form a curved, raised smaller rectangle; the handle is attached to the centre of this raised area at each end of the strip.

Condition Remarks
No signs of corrosion, dents or breaks; a gummy deposit partially covered the surface of cover (b); a small blue mark was also on the cover, and a small corner of a sticker clung to the edge; there were several very small, yellow patches on the surface of (b) (possible wearing of metal?); a sticky, yellow deposit was in a corner at the inner bottom of tray (a).
