Autotransformer which consists of a square metal base built up of flat pieces of steel laminated together and held up by large screws; in the middle of the frame is a cloth strip-covered roll (of copper?); the cloth is coated with black paint; coming out from the central roll are 20 high current leads -- cloth-covered wires; some of these have heavy paper tags which read 5, 250, 65, 210 (attached) and 140, 10, 30, and 165 (unattached).
Label on the side reads, "Auto Transformer Type 200G Volt 250 Cycles 60 KVA 8 Serial 868 The Kelley-Koett Mfg. Co., Inc. Keleket Building -- Covington, KY. U.S.A."
