Surgical instrument roll, which consists of a rectangular piece of blue cloth lined with off-white flannel cloth, and with folding flaps at the top, bottom, and left sides; the inside of the roll has three cloth straps sewn in, running horizontally; there are also vertical cross-loops on the top and bottom straps, which provide slots to hold surgical instruments; the flap at the left side has a small pocket sewn onto the inner edge; the pocket has an upper flap that opens and closes it, and it is secured with a loop and round mother-of-pearl button; when all three flaps are folded in, the roll can be rolled up from right to left, then secured with two ties (one of which is now broken); ties on the top and bottom flaps hold them together to make rolling the surgical roll more easy; instruments catalogued separately.
