The retractor consists of a stationary handle and moving parts; possibly chest retractor?; the handle is all of one piece, curving at its bottom into a semicircle, and curving at the top into a long oval tongue, slightly concave; there is a long oval slit down most of the handle's length, through which two flat wing-type pieces of metal protrude, securing the moving parts while allowing it to slide up and down; these attachments connect to another, smaller handle that curves into a "Z" shape, away from the main handle; the tip is wide, round, and corrugated to provide a resting place for a thumb; a large, round threaded knob joins the mini-handle, the main handle, and two round, long arms that extend upwards in a slightly curved "V" shape; these arms slide through two short cylinders on either side of the main handle, securing them; at the upper end of each arm, attached by bolts, is a long metal tongue, slightly concave and rounded at both ends; both ends are bent outwards at 90°; when the mini-handle is pushed up, these tongues move upwards and outwards.
