B-D Ace hypodermic syringe, which consists of a barrel (a) and a plunger (b); the barrel is hollow and cylindrical; one end has a circular opening with a flat, open lip and two flat anti-roll sides; the other end tapers to form a point, and is topped with a cylindrical metal luer-lok tip; there is a small hole at the end of the tip; the barrel fits into the wider end; it is cylindrical, with two flat, closed ends; one end has a straight extending glass lip; the body of the plunger is frosted glass; the opposite end is blunt; the plunger is hollow.

Condition Remarks
The metal parts showed no signs of corrosion; there were no chips or breaks; there were slight scratches on the inner surface of the barrel; the syringe was slightly dusty.
