Potter's saw-edge nasal scissors, which consist of an instrument made up of two joining halves--the top (a) and bottom (b); the handles are straight, then bend downwards at a 45° angle curve, then are straight and end with oval finger rings; the tops of the handles are joined with a pivot joint; beyond the joint are the blades; the blades are straight and taper slightly to rounded tips; the inner edges are flat, the outer edges are rounded, and the inner side edges are serrated and sharp; the handles have rounded edges.

The inside edge of both handles has the number "99" stamped into the metal just before the joint; the upper handle (a) has the words, "E.B. MEYROWITZ" stamped into the metal of the outer edge and the word "PATENTED" stamped into the metal of the inner edge.

Condition Remarks
The metal shows some wear and very minor plating loss; no corrosion is visible; moving parts move freely.
