Charlton antrum trocar cannula, which consists of a hollow metal instrument with a flat rectangular handle with rounded corners; the bottom of the handle tapers to a bulbous, hollow, short cylindrical piece with a round, open outer edge; this end has a small piece of rubber tubing over it; the top of the handle tapers to a hollow, cylindrical tube; this tube is straight, then curves at the tip and ends wtih a sharp, bevelled tip with an open end; there is a wire inside the tube; the handle also has a series of horizontal gripping grooves near the top, on both sides.
