Syringe sterlizer, which consists of a rectangular sterilizer (a) with a removable tray (b); the sterilizer is rectangular in shape, with closed right, left, front, back, and bottom; there is a lid on the top that is hinged at the back; the outside centre of the lid has a rectangular-shaped piece of bakelite attached, which serves as a handle; the bottom of the sterilizer has a round, bakelite foot at each corner; the lower back right side of the sterilizer has an attached electric cord with a round ceramic piece where the cord goes into the sterilizer; the electric cord is covered with woven thread; there is an oval on/off switch set into the cord 48.5 cm from the sterilizer; the outer end of the cord has a rounded bakelite plug with brass prongs; the electric cord is 190.5 cm long in total; the inside of the lid has a flat metal hook attached at the left and right sides; these two hooks hold the tray (b); the tray is made of rectangular metal that has a pattern of small, round holes stamped through the metal; the front, back, right, and left sides are turned up; there is a small, heavy cylindrical wire hook attached at both the right and left sides; these hooks hook onto the hooks attached to the inner lid of the sterilizer.

Condition Remarks
The metal shows some wear; there is a small spot of corrosion on the hook attached to the right inside of the lid; the bakelite parts are complete and undamaged.
