Condition Remarks
The basin showed signs of wear in the form of scratches and patches of worn enamelware on its outer bottom surface (6 cm x 1.7 cm, 1.5 cm x 1.6 cm, 1.5 cm x 1 cm, 2 cm x 0.5 cm, 3.7 cm x 0.6 cm, 1.5 cm x 1.7 cm, 2.3 cm x 1.6 cm); there were several small worn patches along its top rim; there were three patches of chipped enamelware on its inner bottom surface, two in the pan's corners and one on one side; minor inactive corrosion was evident around these chips; slight corrosion also appeared in the seams between the pan and the central corners of its top, concave partial cover; the pan was dusty, and there was a yellow residue on its inner surface.
