Freer's septum knife, which consists of an instrument made from a single piece of solid metal; the handle of the knife is fairly flat and long with a rounded end and rounded edges; the top of the handle tapers and joins with a rounded shaft piece; the end of the shaft tapers to a blunt point with an attached knife tip; the knife tip is flat and oval-shaped with sharp edges.
