Diagnosis outfit for throat, consisting of a glass tube (a) which is open at one end and sealed at the other with a cork with an attached swab with a metal shaft extending into the tube when sealed; glass tube is contained in a two-piece metal tube (b-c) with a slight lip at both ends; metal tube is contained in a hollowed-out block of wood (d) with a flat cover which pivots on a nail at one corner and is held shut with a hinged metal clip.
