Two lancets slotted inside a paper box case with leather exterior covering. Both lancets are from different brands and in varying conditions. Both lancet tortoiseshell covers with each design being unique. The rectangular case has a tan and brown leather cover with a wide piece of adhesive fabric cream tape functioning as the bottom. The case lid is missing, exposing the six lancet slots and the one remaining lid metal attachment feature. The case lid cover is missing and four lancets are missing.

Condition Remarks
July 23, 2023: Case heavily worn and flaking, discolouration, lots of surface grime, and missing bottom now secured with grey tape; tape edges fraying slightly; broken edges on all sides of box and wooden layers splitting; heavily worn and discoloured lid clasp with one completely missing; exterior wall of lancet box slot closest to metal clasp broken and flaking; four of six lancets missing from box; missing box lid; surface scratches and some wear on blades; distant edges of arm covers for lancet (a) chipped in three noticable places; lancet (a) pin loose and blade very mobile.
Case heavily worn; four lancets missing; #2: the case is flaking and falling apart.
