Research Facts
Parts (c), (d), and (e), not part of the segregator, are Kelly's instruments for direct examination of the femal bladder (with elevated pelvis) and catheterization of the ureters under direct inspection. The segregator was made obsolete amost before it was used, by the electrically lit cystoscope.
