Long, cylilndrical wooden (bamboo?) pipe with ivory-like ends that have circular holes in middle portion of surface that covers end of pipe; about one-third of the way from one end is a metal portion consisting of "shoulders" that closely fit over the wood surface and the hole in the wood surface, and a short, cylindrical neck with a lipped open mouth (where the opium is burned); wood appears stained.
