Stomach tubes attached to lower tap of pump, hose onto side tap; mouth gag placed between jaws of patient; stomach tube introduced through the aperture; serves the purpose of protecting the stomach tube from injury by patient's teeth and keeps the mouth open; press lever down, draw out piston by the handle, filling the barrel of the pump with stomach contents, which are rejected through a hose. Repeat.
