Sheet metal moulded into a large cylinder (b); one end is closed; fits inside an outside cylinder over parts (d) and (e); (a) is a metal wire moulded into a rounded "M" shape; (c) is the main body of the spirometer; metal, with a spout up near the lid, a three-legged base, and a nozzle projecting from the bottom; has three hinged metal bars, one calibrated in cu. in.; contains a metal drum with a Centigrade thermometer attached; (d) is a painted yellow can with a hole in the bottom, screws inside (c) and contains wire gauze, assorted gause, and rubber; (e) is the lid of the yellow can.
