Rectangular wooden box; on front face near the top is a rectangular glass window that has black hash markings; along the bottom of these markings are numbers from 0 to 10, and along the top there is a series of numbers going from 5 down to 0 and up to 5; on the left side near the front middle edge is a plastic rectangular strip with two circular knobs that can be screwed in and out; there are circular metal poles, presumably for hooking up electrodes; on the opposite side is an electrical socket with two prongs sticking out from the bottom; attached to these are a blue and orange wire that run down the side and disappear in a hole on the underside of the box. From this hole an electrical cord with a plug also extends; on the top of the box near the back left corner is a metal rectangular plate tacked to the wood; an arrow points to a long, thin metal rod that extends from a small cylindrical metal solid raised slightly from the wood surface, and is flanked on either side by a small, thin, round prong.
