"Sandalwood Oil -- volatile oil distilled with steam from the dried heartwood of santalumalbum; pale yellow, somewhat viscid, oil liquid having the characteristic odour and tase of sandalwood."; also known as santal oil or Santali Oleum.
Used as an antiblenorrhagic (to relieve mucous discharge from the urethra or vagina) in the treatment of subacute and chronic gonorrhea; to be taken about an hour and a half after meals.
