A wooden fitted box (a) contains the parts for the hemometer, plus a 12-page booklet of directions (b); (c) is a metal haemometer with glass standards; (d) is a perished rubber dropper top, (e) is a wound mass of perished tubing, (f) is a square measuring tube with scales engraved on opposited sides, (g and h) are glass pipettes, (i) is a glass rod, and (j, k, l) are a wooden cylinder containing a glass tube 1/3 filled with a clear liquid and closed with a red stopper.
