Research Facts
Dr. Davidson uses this kind of clothing for performing autopsies on AIDS victims; he describes the suit as being uncomfortable to wear because it prevents evaporation of perspiration; it builds up in the boots and can be heard "sloshing around" when the wearer moves; a shortened autopsy is performed on AIDS victims: care is taken not to pour--thereby spraying--body fluids; small samples are taken from the organs, which are not removed from the body.
