Hospital scale has a rectangular metal base with four L-shaped feet at the corners; corners are rounded, convexly curved, with small slots for mounting metal cover of base with springs; curving extension to base curved concavely, then convexly around end (like an inverted U); extension has semicircular foot; two long metal poles extend out of base extension; front pole flares into spherical shpaes, then narrows and flares twice more before stopping; at top sphere, a loosely enclosed metal crossbar projects from both sides; rear pole flares into trident shape and decorative metalwork; on top of this the weighing assembly, with two arms and cylindrical weights, is mounted.
