BD Luer-lok stopcock in a box; the stopcock (a) consists of a metal tight-fitting valve that attaches to the end of a BD syringe; connected to the valve is a central box like section with a thin nozzle at the end; on top is a lever which opens and closes the valve; the box is made of thin cardboard and has a clear cellophane opening allowing visible access to the inside; there is also a small instruction sheet (c).
