A set of metal Tarnier obstetrical forceps which fit together with an English lock; one of the pieces (a) has a screw and wing nut attached to the bottom of the handle; at the top there are elongated oval tips with hollow centres; handles are straight with a sharp double curve; the second half of the set (b) attaches to the first half and is a mirror image with the exception of the screw.
