Metal dental chair with round metal base, partly enamelled in beige, which tapers up toward the seat; four levers raise the level of chair and recline it via an internal hydraulic system; blue-enamelled chair with stuffed beige leather-covered seat and back; top of adjustable metal arm-rests enamelled in black; grey rubber footrest supported by a metal border and base; stuffed beige leather-covered curved head rest is height-adjustable via two levers on back of chair; manufacturer's name embossed on the front of the footrest

Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; this is a chair from the early 1960s, but adapted to fit onto a hydraulic base from 1920-1940
