Set of three plaster denture teaching models with specific removable plastic teeth; white base with green teeth and gums; (a) partial cast of left upper side includes the canine, first and second premolars and the first and second molars; four vertical slices through the plaster, separating the teeth; bottom has five metal posts which protrude from the plaster; group of three removable cream coloured plastic teeth (b) which consists of the first and second premolars and the first molar set onto a silver metal base; cast of the entire upper dentition (c) has four vertical slices separating the central incisors and the left lateral incisor and canine; bottom of (c) has grooves and four metal posts that protrude; attached to (c) are two identical, removable plastic central incisors on painted silver base; (d) sits on right side and (e) sits on left; (f) complete cast of lower dentition with two vertical cut marks on either side of left first molar with painted silver tooth; cream coloured plastic left first molar (g) sits on top of painted silver tooth on (f) and also set onto a silver metal base.

Condition Remarks
Bases show wear, (c & f) shows brown stains; incisors and lateral incisor are broken; all removable teeth were too small to affix accession numbers, therefore the teeth for each model was put into a small bag with a tag inside.

Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008. Similar model was found on the internet.
