Original hand tinted medical educational broadsheet engraving in a cartoon style of illustration depicting 24 maladies, each illustration bears extensive lettering below, naming the malady and depicting the remedy, arranged in four rows of six images; central block of maladies surrounded by a floral border, formulae for various remedies are printed down each side without images; written in French; print (length 68.3 cm x width 51.6 cm) mounted with a floating mount then inside a wood frame with glass.

Purchased print in 1992 from an antiquitarian books and engravings booth at an Antique Show, Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal QC. Archival mounting of the print and shadowbox frame was added at a later date.
