It remained for Bosworth to place the nasal saw in its proper and important position as the most efficient and satisfactory of all instruments in the treatment of septial deviations As early as 1887 Bosworth reported as many as 166 operations which he had personally performed with a saw of his own device and since that time they have been used almost exclusively to any other.
