The top of the handle near the shaft is engraved "OR"; the top of the shaft has the word "STAINLESS" and the Jetter & Scheerer logo of a snake twisted around a caduceus rod with a crown above it, stamped into it; the bottom of the shaft has the words, "THE J.F. HARTZ CO. GERMANY [box with a slash inside] STAINLESS" stamped into it
