(a) Instructions for the assembly of the Sterno vaporizer are typed two-sided on a piece of paper; diagrams showing use of vaporizer are seen with manufacturer's address lining bottom on one side; these instructions fold up into (b) a small envelope that has a loose cotton string emerging from the envelope on one side; it is tied to a round punched hole in the envelope that has reinforcement cardboard lining the hole; the Sterno vaporizer has (c) a small spout cap located on top; it is cylindrical in shape with a hollow bottom that has a lipped rim that fits inside (d) the heating chamber; the top of the spout cap is convex with a small spout protruding at a slant from the centre; the spout is tube-like and tapers to a small opening; in assembly of the Sterno vaporizer, the spout fits snugly on top of (d) the heating chamber; this is a cylindrical tube that is hollow with an open end at the top and a convex bottom; the body is straight and smooth with a molded lip midway; used as a stopper to hold the heating chamber upright in (e) the heating cup; the heating cup is cylindrical and flares to a hollow, lipped bottom; the top edge of the cup has ten small punched holes equally spaced apart around the rim of the opening; one side of the cup has a wing-shaped handle attached; the Sterno vaporizer sits on (f) a metal foldout cookstove; the stove has three hinged sides that fold into a square shape; the top is flat metal that overhangs the side; the stove plate has a circular cutout and five hexagonal shapes equally spaced apart surrounding the circular cutout, resembling a spoked wheel that is molded on the surface of the stove top; the two opposite side flaps have a molded circle with a half-moon shape punched directly below it, while the rear flap attaches itself to a molded cross member on bottom of stove; the cross member is used as a balance to hold stove in place and to support (g) the heating can; this is a small, round, steel can, cylindrical in shape with a concave bottom; the body tapers to a lipped edge which has the can top sealed in it; a Sterno reducer (h) used to prolong vaporizing resembles a dial that is a thin piece of circular metal with 24 tiny holes that are equally spaced apart punched in the rim; the centre of the dial has a large hole punched out with edges that flare out from the dial; to extinguish flame when through using vaporizer, a metal extinguisher (i) is used; this is tear-shaped and has a flat metal handle with a circle punched into the end and two circular indentations; the handle flares into a flat bubble shape and ends with a round end that has a bump at the end; Note: parts (a) and (b) are on hold (archival).
