Antrum trocar which consists of two pieces that fit together; the perforator (a) consists of a length of solid cylindrical metal formed into a curve with a three-sided bayonet-pointed tip; the tip tapers to a sharp point; the other end of the cylindrical piece attaches to a hollow cylindrical metal handle witha closed, bulbous end; the perforator fits into a cannula (b); the cannula consists of a length of hollow cylindrical metal tubing formed into a curve with a round, open tip; the other end of the cannula has a hollow cylindrical base piece that has an attached thumb push piece; this is a flat piece of metal that tapers outwards to a rounded point; the base piece is round and open at its end
