Ventimeter ventilator, which consists of a rectangular box with several switches and knobs and an added low pressure alarm; the ventilator (a) is a six-sided rectangular box with many pieces coming out from it; the front has a flat metal switch at the top that moves left and right from the bag to the ventilator; below this on the left side is a glass and metal airway pressure dial that measures cm. of water; below this at the lower left corner is a rubber tube going downwards; the right side of the front has three round knobs that move left and right and increase or decrease inspiratory time, expiratory pause and inspiratory flow; there are also five switches that move up and down and control bag dump, bag fill, on/off for the low pressure alarm, positive-negative and assist-control; the right side of the ventilator has a large round knob that will turn left or right to increase or decrease sensitivity; the left side of the ventilator has an attached printed paper label that lists an outline of operating instructions; the back of the ventilator has a dial marked in increments of 10 from 0 to 60; this dial has a plastic cover over it; the right side of theback has a round knob and a round piece sticking out that has threading to allow something to attach to it; there are also two small labels on the right side of the back; the top of the ventilator has a short hollow cylindrical tube at the back right; the centre of the top has a raised round platform with four screws holding it in; the bottom of the ventilator has a small round open hole at the centre back and a short hollow cylindrical tube at the centre front; the right side of the bottom has an attached low pressure alarm; this is a rectangular six-sided box with several knobs; the front of the alarm has a switch at the upper left which attaches with the on/off switch on the ventilator; the top right has a round alarm; the centre of the alarm has a power on and a trigger light; the lower centre has a hose going down that connects to the tube coming from the ventilator with a hollow cylindrical Y-shaped piece of plastic; the lower right of the alarm has a reset button; (b) a bellows cover (bellows missing) attaches to the raised round platform on the top of the ventilator; this cover is made of hollow cylindrical plastic with a closed top and open bottom; there is a wire protector over the plastic; a volume indicator in cc. is on the front of the cover.

Condition Remarks
The ventilator and bellows cover arrived dirty and dusty; the metal parts show some wear, but no corrosion is visible; the plastic and glass parts are complete and undamaged; the rubber tubing shows slight cracking at the piece attached to the ventilator, but is flexible; the paper labels show some damage, but all but one (on the low pressure alarm) are fully legible; #2: rubber - requires special treatment.
