The cannula is an open-ended metal tube; one end consists of a round hole, in the middle of a smooth metal cylinder 1.8 cm long; this cylinder runs through the middle of a gripping disk that has gripping lines stamped along its edges; the disk extends and tapers to form a bell-shaped piece; from the narrow end of this piece, a metal tube extends vertically, 12 cm long; near its tip, the tube bends at approximately a 45° angle; the tip is blunt and there is a round hole in this end.
