Separatory funnel consists of a hollow, glass, pear-shaped funnel, topped with a cylindrical glass neck at the wide end, and tapering to form a round, glass tube at the bottom narrow end; the neck is frosted glass, and has a closed, round lip; the glass tube and the narrow part of the funnel are joined by a horizontal, hollow cylindrical stopcock housing; the bottom portion of the tube is smooth, and its tip is cut on a 45° angle; there is a round opening at this end.
On the outer surface of the pear-shapeed component, near its top, "T ["S" overwritten] // 22 // KIMAX // USA // [closed, filled-in hexagon figure]" appears in frosted white glass lettering

The outer surface of the separatory funnel was dusty, and its inner surface had moderate water deposits and dust; there were no significant scratches, and no breaks or cracks.
