The instrument sterilizer consists of (a) a rectangular metal box with hinged lid that opens using a heat-resistant handle on the right side end; on the front of the box there is an on/off switch; to the left of the switch is a round metal protrusion with red glass covering the end and fitted with four insulated feet; to the right of the switch is a springed bakelite knob; exiting from the back is an electric cord with plug; (b) metal removable tray with a handle on one end and numerous regularly punched holes over the entire tray bottom; (c) top has a bakelite knob that screws into a faucet on the left side end and opens and closes the faucet; it is removable.

The sterilizer shows evidence of use, but no corrosion; there were brown deposits on its outer surface, as well as water deposits.
