Heymann's nasal scissors, which consist of an instrument made up of two joining halves--the top (a) and bottom (b); the handles are straight, and end with oval finger rings; the tops of the handles curve to the left at a 45° angle and beyond the curve are the blades; the blades are straight and taper slightly to blunt tips; the inner edges are flat, the outer edges are rounded, and the inner side edges are serrated and sharp; the handles also have flat inner edges and rounded outer edges.
