Femoral component for knee replacement, which consists of a U-shaped single piece of moulded vitallium that has the upper tips turned up at a rounded 90° angle; the bottom of the "U" also turns up at a 90° rounded band and has an upright, slightly concave piece that tapers slightly to a rounded outer edge; all outer edges are smooth and rounded; the inner edges are smooth with smooth grooves on the non-curved surfaces; the inside bottom of the component has a cross-shaped knob on each side.
