Cardboard box (a,b) contains a "Holmes type" stereoscope (c) with a lightweight metal hood painted black, gold-flecked; a piece of red-stained wood extends horizontally for the attachment of the card holder; wooden handle is adjustable to a horizontal or vertical position; the wooden card holder (d) fits onto (c) and is held in place by a metal piece and has two metal brackets to hold cards; the box also has an index; there are 136 cards (not separately numbered).
