This product was produced to help people who suffer from motion sickness. The main component is hyoscine hydrobromide, which is also known as scopolamine, which is a type of medicine known as "anticholinergics" or "antimuscarinics." The way in which it affects motion sickness is not fully understood, but it is believed to block messages to the brain from the inner ear.
