Cotton cap, consisting of a curved brim in the shape of an inverted trapezoid; the points of the trapezoid meet at the rear of the cap; the lower edge of the brim is continued in a large semicircular section that is folded up to a sort of peak and then gathered at the back with eight straight pins; the folds between brim and peak are held in place with two bobby pins (b); a black felt stripe is affixed to the upper part of the brim.
