There are seven horizontal lines which go around the entire outside surface and seven shorter horizontal lines (near the spout) which come off a vertical line; the following numbers appear near the short horizontal lines from top to bottom: "4 / 3 / 2 / 1 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 / 1"; there are two unidentified symbols at the top
