Provenance
Owned and used by Dr. Burns of Napanee, Ont., a 1947 graduate of the Queen's University Medical Program; some items belonged to Dr. Stratton, who held the Napanee practice prior to Dr. Burns.
Printed directly on the glass in green ink with the lettering done in negative: "COTTON"; embossed on bottom of jar: "Profex // USA" within an oval shape; engraved inside the jar lid: "Profex [underlined]" within an oval shape, and below: "STAINLESS USA" in a semicircular form.

Condition Remarks
Jar has a few small bubbles in the glass and some dust inside the jar; lid has white flecks (paint?) on it and a small amount of tarnish.
